Electric cars are not as green as we think. such batteries are toxic waste. and yes, we neglect foreign oil, but that is a considerable drain on our ability to generate power lead (if used), it means burning more coal, which cause more pollution or the passing of our dependence on foreign oil, natural gas abroad. most of the world's supply is controlled by Russia. and the price of gas is more volatile than oil prices.
